Financial Manager

Role Overview:

The Financial Director will be responsible for leading NEXGEN’s financial strategy and operations, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and compliance. This role requires significant experience in managing complex financial structures, fostering banking relationships, and collaborating closely with other departments to drive financial success. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of both local and international finance, particularly in managing relationships with banks and financial institutions to support ongoing growth.

Key Responsibilities:

 • Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute NEXGEN’s financial strategy, supporting business objectives and ensuring financial stability and growth.

• Banking Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure favorable terms, manage credit lines, and support financing needs.

 • Cash Flow & Capital Management: Oversee cash flow planning and capital allocation to ensure adequate liquidity for business operations and investments.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting and monthly/quarterly forecasting processes, aligning with company goals and optimizing resource allocation.

• Financial Analysis & Reporting: Provide financial insights and reports, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements, delivering actionable insights to senior management.

• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing strategies to protect company assets and maintain financial security.

• Compliance & Regulatory Management: Ensure compliance with Polish, EU, and international financial regulations and standards, coordinating with auditors and other regulatory bodies.

• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process and efficiency improvements within the finance department, enhancing accuracy, speed, and control.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, logistics, quality, and other departments to ensure financial alignment and support strategic objectives.

Requirements:

 • Experience: 5+ years of experience in finance, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role, ideally within a multinational or growth-focused company.

 • Banking & Financial Institution Relationships: Proven experience managing relationships with banks and financial institutions, with a track record of securing favourable terms and managing credit lines.

• International Finance Knowledge: Strong understanding of international finance, including experience with global suppliers and financial structures in regions such as China, Vietnam, India, and Bangladesh.

• Language: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Polish and additional languages relevant to sourcing regions is a plus.

 • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on aligning financial strategies with long-term business goals.
