Quality Manager

Role Overview:

The Quality Manager for Non-Food will lead the quality assurance processes for a diverse product portfolio, including small kitchen appliances, household items, and other non-food products. This role requires close collaboration with suppliers and sourcing teams from regions like China, Vietnam, India, and Bangladesh, ensuring that products meet both regulatory and company quality standards for the Polish market

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance Management: Develop and oversee quality assurance strategies and procedures for non-food products, focusing on small kitchen appliances, household items, and similar categories.

• Supplier Quality Collaboration: Work with suppliers from regions such as China, Vietnam, India, Bangladesh, and others to ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with Polish and EU regulations.

• Compliance & Testing: Ensure that all products comply with Polish and EU regulatory standards, coordinating testing, certifications, and safety audits as necessary.

• Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the supply chain and production processes to enhance product quality and minimize defects or issues.

• Inspections & Audits: Conduct or coordinate inspections and audits at supplier facilities to confirm adherence to NEXGEN’s quality requirements.

• Cross-functional Communication: Collaborate with sourcing, product development, and logistics teams to ensure that quality expectations are understood and met across the board.

• Reporting: Maintain quality records and provide regular reports on product quality, supplier performance, and compliance status to senior management.

Requirements:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in quality management, specifically with non-food products like kitchen appliances, household items, or similar.

• Global Sourcing Knowledge: Experience working with international suppliers, especially in regions like China, Vietnam, India, and Bangladesh.

• Language: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in languages relevant to sourcing regions is a plus.

• Attention to Detail: Strong eye for detail with the ability to spot quality issues and enforce high standards.

• Problem-solving Skills: Proven problem-solving abilities with experience in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
