Category Manager Non Food

Role Overview:

The Category Manager for Non-Food will oversee the development and sourcing of diverse product lines, including small kitchen appliances, household items, and other essential non-food products. This role involves working with suppliers and sourcing contacts from various regions, such as China, Vietnam, India, Bangladesh, and more, to bring the best products to the Polish market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Category Management: Develop, plan, and manage the product category strategy for small kitchen appliances, household items, and other non-food categories for the Polish market.

• Global Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with suppliers from key sourcing regions, including China, Vietnam, India, and Bangladesh, ensuring high quality and competitive pricing.

• Market Analysis: Conduct research and analyze consumer trends in the Polish market to make informed decisions about product selections and category expansions.

• Supplier Relationship Management: Negotiate terms, contracts, and pricing with suppliers to meet business goals, ensuring compliance with ethical sourcing standards.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as quality assurance, logistics, and marketing to ensure smooth product launches and category performance.

• Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for sourcing and category growth, tracking profitability and sales performance.

• Reporting: Track key category metrics, product performance, and market trends, providing regular reports to senior management.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in category management, preferably in non-food products such as small kitchen appliances, household items, or similar.

• Global Sourcing Knowledge: Proven experience sourcing from international markets, particularly in Asia (China, Vietnam, India, Bangladesh, etc.).

• Language: Fluency in English is required; additional language skills relevant to sourcing regions are a plus.

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends to drive category success.
