Gonçalo Veloso is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of diverse experience across the fashion retail, textiles manufacturing, and FMCG industries. Throughout his career, he has adeptly managed key departments such as commercial, expansion, production, business development, sourcing, and research. His broad expertise has been instrumental in driving significant growth and innovation across various sectors.
In the last decade, Gonçalo has served as the CEO of Vershold, where he has played a pivotal role in managing and nurturing relationships with major retail partners, including Biedronka, Pingo Doce, and ARA. Under his leadership, Vershold has successfully developed and expanded the private label portfolios for these retailers, covering both non-food and food categories. Notably, he had the honor of introducing and launching the Vintage Cuisine brand, specializing in small kitchen appliances, into the European market. His strategic insights also led to the development of a sophisticated food project for Biedronka, featuring over 200 products inspired by Southwest Asian cuisine.

Miguel's career journey includes significant positions such as Sales Supervisor, Senior Category Manager, and Commercial Director, where he has demonstrated his ability to drive growth and innovation.
Miguel has a proven track record of collaborating with prominent global customers across diverse markets, including Biedronka in Poland, Pingo Doce in Portugal, Ara in Colombia, Dia in Argentina, Fast Fish in China, and Edeka in Germany. His ability to navigate and lead in these highly competitive environments has been instrumental in ensuring that products not only meet but exceed customer expectations, consistently delivering impactful results. His wealth of experience makes him a valuable asset in any business development or management role within the industry.
George Zhang
George Zhang is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in sourcing, procurement, and operations management across a diverse range of industries. With over 15 years of leadership in both Asian and European markets, George has consistently demonstrated his expertise in managing large-scale sourcing operations and driving business growth.
Most recently, George served as Vice President of Sourcing and Technical at Vershold China, a Polish non-food products importer and exporter. In this role, he managed the China Business Unit, overseeing the procurement of approximately $100 million in goods, primarily sourced from Asia. His portfolio included a wide array of products, ranging from small electrical appliances and power tools to textiles, lighting, and furniture.
Prior to this, George was the Operation Manager Asia at Anaïk Asia, a French company specializing in non-food products and gifts. He managed a buying volume of approximately $50 million, catering to high-profile clients such as LVMH, L’Occitane, and Carrefour. His earlier roles include serving as Group Project Director at ITG China, where he focused on new client acquisition and business development, and as Process & Quality Manager at Lafarge Gypsum China, where he played a key role in production line revamping and quality assurance.
George’s diverse background and proven track record in sourcing, procurement, and operational excellence make him a valuable asset to any organization looking to optimize its supply chain and expand its global footprint.
Hanna Orszulak
Hanna Orszulak has over 13 years of experience in quality control, assurance, and sourcing, she has built a distinguished career in ensuring product compliance, optimizing processes, and managing supplier relationships across various industries, including non-food home consumer goods, toys, dyi products, medical devices and many more. While serving as Quality Control Director at Vershold Group, she led quality assurance initiatives by overseeing compliance with regulatory standards, implementing safety protocols, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. Her leadership ensured that products met the stringent demands of the European market.
Previously, in her role as Senior Quality Control Specialist, she focused on developing safety documentation, refining testing processes, and maintaining alignment with market requirements.
Before joining Vershold, she gained valuable expertise at Kingfisher plc, where she contributed as a Sourcing Specialist by identifying and developing suppliers, achieving cost efficiencies, and launching new products across European markets and retailers such as Castorama, Brico Depot, ScrewFix, B&Q and others. In a prior role as Quality Assurance Specialist, she conducted supplier factory audits, managed technical documentation, and ensured seamless product validation processes.
Her career began at Stokvis Tapes Group as a Quality Engineer, where she maintained ISO-compliant quality management systems, resolved product complaints using Kaizen tools, and conducted operator training to enhance production standards.
She is recognized for her deep understanding of regulatory compliance, ability to optimize operational processes, and success in leading teams to deliver exceptional results in quality assurance and supplier management.

Gonçalo Silva is a results-driven operations and logistics professional with 8 years of experience across the automotive and FMCG industries. Specializing in optimizing supply chains, enhancing operational processes, and driving innovation, he is skilled at delivering operational excellence and sustainable growth. His expertise covers strategic logistics management, cost optimization, and seamless collaboration with third-party providers.
As Operations Director at Vershold Portugal, Gonçalo was instrumental in managing end-to-end logistics operations, overseeing inventory control, order management, and customer coordination across B2B and B2C channels. His focus on process optimization, cost efficiency, and system innovation contributed significantly to the company’s growth and operational success. He worked closely with key stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and continuous improvement of operational workflows.
Before taking on his leadership role at Vershold, Gonçalo played a crucial role in projects at Rangel Logistics Solutions and DHL Supply Chain, including the successful implementation of the Global Transport Label (GTL) initiative at Volkswagen Autoeuropa. His ability to drive operational transformation and deliver innovative solutions has consistently enhanced operational performance in both automotive and FMCG sectors..
